Ramadan as a Momentum for Muslims to Improve Worship and Forgive One Another

Dilikkasus86.com – kamis 5 Maret 2026 Bekasi Cikarang – Jawa Barat – The holy month of Ramadan has arrived once again, bringing a moment of blessings for Muslims to improve the quality of their worship and draw closer to Allah SWT. In addition to observing the obligatory fast, Muslims are also required to give Zakat al-Fitr, which serves as an act of purification and social care for others.
Ramadan is a golden opportunity for every Muslim to increase good deeds, such as performing the five daily prayers, attending night prayers (Tarawih), reading the Qur’an, giving charity, and doing other acts of kindness. Through sincere worship and reflection, Ramadan becomes a valuable time to improve oneself and strengthen faith.
On the other hand, it is truly unfortunate if this holy month is wasted on things that are not beneficial. Ramadan should be a time to increase devotion and avoid prohibited actions such as neglecting prayers, not fasting, engaging in gossip, or other negative behaviors.
As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“The month of Ramadan is a blessed month. Allah has made fasting obligatory during it, opened the gates of Paradise, and closed the gates of Hell.” (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
The Secretary General of MGN, Padil Nabila, S.E., also encouraged the public to make Ramadan a moment for self-reflection and strengthening unity.
“In this holy month of Ramadan, let us improve ourselves, purify our hearts, and strengthen our faith. Let this blessed moment be a time to forgive one another, strengthen brotherhood, and spread kindness to others. May the people of West Java and all of Indonesia be blessed with peace, unity, and prosperity as they observe worship during this noble month,” he said.
With the spirit of Ramadan, it is hoped that the community will make the best use of this sacred month by increasing acts of worship, maintaining unity, and spreading goodness to create a more harmonious society.
